Felicity Blake - Assistant Director, Production Manager
Felicity Blake attained her degree in Film at Australia’s University of New South Wales. Upon graduating she initially worked in the advertising industry in creative and account management roles, specialising in copywriting, brand management, and concept development.
Felicity returned to film and TV when she took up a position with RGM, one of Australia’s foremost artist representation agencies. Initially working in the writers and directors department but soon transitioning into project development and packaging, she remained at the agency until leaving narrative film for documentary in 2003.
After several years working and travelling in Iran, Libya, Egypt, Europe and the USA, developing her interests in travel writing, video-journalism, interfaith dialogue and ethnography, Felicity now divides her time between Byron Bay and New York City, partnering with Hatchling Productions (Clunes, NSW) in 2007 as a writer/researcher, AD, and production manager.
Felicity works across the spectrum of the production process, from ‘pre’ to ‘post’, including closed-captioning and audio description for disabled audiences.
