Nicolette Boaz - Music Supervisor, Composer
Australia-based composer Nicolette Boaz has worked in the film industry for 25 years. Her musical compositions encompass documentary, features, theatre, advertising, and educational DVD's.
Nicolette has a degree in Contemporary Music / Aboriginal Studies. She specializes in working with music from ethnic cultures, having lectured in World Music at the Australian Institute of Music. Many of Nicolette's projects have explored Aboriginal issues, as she is a lifelong supporter of Indigenous affairs.
Her screen credits include 'Jabiluka' (David Bradbury), 'Losing Layla' (Atom Award winning documentary), 'My Home: The Block' (the on going dispossession of Aboriginal people from Redfern) and 'Eye on the Reef' (screened in 25 countries). Her current projects include Climate Change activism and a contemporary album written with different cultural groups residing in Australia.
